Our Team

Bumi Sehat founder Robin Lim had a vision in 1995 to work in partnership with people to improve the quality of life of underserved populations and combat indonesia’s high maternal and infant mortality rates.

In less than two decades, her vision has manifested as two fully-functioning Community Health Clinics in Bali and Aceh, employing more than 80 full-time staff members, providing more than 50,000 health services annually, and bringing more than 600 newborns into the world each year.

The Clinics are open 24 hours a day and staffed with midwives, doctors, nurses and international volunteers from around the world. A professional office staff works behind the scenes to manage the organization’s finances to ensure responsible accounting and donation allocation.

Bumi Sehat is not just a place to work. It is a community and family, much like the families in the communities we serve. Patients and visitors are always greeted with a smile. Although everyone works hard, there is laughter and joking in the rooms – and never a shortage of LOVE.
